2005 marked the beginning of the Arepaz Record label to compliment, Beta Bodega and Botanica Del Jibaro, as an alternative sound source for immigrant inspired protest breakouts and grooves. Before racist dreams about wall division between the US & Mexico, Arepaz inspired the world, outside the programmed bandwagons, that came later would infest the American political landscape. Pioneering ideals and always progressive in nature, we took the best part from the evolution of all our prior labels to make the best sonic reprenstation for 2007. A real quality and reality meter of the local scene in Miami at the time, that moved on from hipster design covers, old gimmick bass and Autechre or formulaic J-Dilla cloning. Throw a hot arepa in the air and see how many times losers try to flip and bite it.
